Malvern Hills District Council – Refuse Collection

Please be aware that due to the excessively high temperatures forecast for next week we will be starting bin collections earlier than normal on Monday (18 July), Tuesday (19 July) and Wednesday (20 July).
On these three days we will be making our first collections at 6.15am at the earliest.
To assist with this, we are asking residents to make sure bins or sacks are put out the night before to prevent any missed collections.

It’s hot , the water looks inviting ,
But these places are not blue lagoons ,
They are industrial pits , full of old equipment, waste and incredibly cold temperatures.
Hopefully someone may see this picture and change their minds about going and avoid heartache.

NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF BURNTHORNE LANE, ASTLEY AND DUNLEY, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)

Reason for restriction: Overhead cabling for fibre by Openreach.  There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

 

  1. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with U10012 Jennings Wood Lane to its junction with A451 Dunley Road.

  1. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 1 day commencing 12 July 2022.

 

  1. Alternative routes: – A451 Dunley, B4194 Ribbesford Road, U64219 Burnthorne Lane and vice versa.

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.
