Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(Bridleway AD-546, Astley & Dunley) (Temporary Closure Order) 2026
Proposed Order: to close Bridleway AD-546, Astley & Dunley from its junction with U11105 Marlborough Drive to its junction with Bridleway AD-545 & AD-547, Astley & Dunley.
The Order has been made to facilitate vehicles, plant, and site machinery associated with a housing development.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Pedestrians: Footpath AD545, B4196, U11100, U11105 and vice versa.
Bridleway: Bridleway AD-547, U64214 Larford Lane, B4196, U11100, U11105 and vice versa.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 18 July 2026.
