Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(C2239 Astley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2239 Astley from its junction with U64215 Sandhampton for a distance of 200 metres in a Westerly direction.
Reason: To provide safe working for overhead fibre cabling work by Openreach
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2239 Astley (part), B4196 Astley, B4194 Pearl Ln, A451 Dunley Rd, A451 Dunley, C2239 Yarhampton, C2239 Astley (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 16 September 2025
