Village Hall Booking

Astley and Dunley Village Hall and grounds is a fantastic venue for parties, celebrations, presentation nights, dance or exercise groups and all sorts of events; including on occasion caravan club meets..

We have a large, well lit car park – with disabled access to the hall. The main hall is a large vesatile space with a newly refurbished sprung floor. There is seating for150 persons with a maximum capacity of 270. It has a large stage with access from both wings and French doors that open out onto the patio area and grounds which have hosted many summer events.

There is a large kitchen with a cooker, water heater and fridge. Cutlery, crockery and utensils are included in the hire but we do ask hirers to make sure they tidy everything away after use. There are male and female toilets and a separate disabled toilet in the entrance hall.

Separate from the hall there is a smaller committee room which can seat up to 35 people. It can be booked separately and has been used for community groups, parish council and other business meetings.

The hall is surrounded by grassland which is maintained regularly and a haven for local walkers and their dogs.  All hirers are most welcome to use the field but need to take care as it is also a haven for moles. Hirers use the hall and grounds at their own risk.

Please note that we do not have an alcohol licence – hirers must make their own arrangements, be compliance aware and provide their own glasses.
