Astley and Dunley Village Hall
If you are looking for a splendid venue for parties, celebrations, presentation nights, dance or exercise groups, discos or meetings of any sort.
We offer a large, well lit car park – with disabled access to the hall
The main hall is a versatile, sizeable room with a newly refurbished sprung floor. There is seating for150 persons with a maximum capacity of 290.
The hall has a large stage with access from both wings.
From the hall, French doors open out onto a patio area for those special summer events.
The large kitchen offers a substantial stove, water heater and fridge. Cutlery, crockery and utensils will be included in the hire.
We offer separate male, female and disabled toilet facilities.
Separate from the hall we have a smaller room; excellent for committee or business meetings. We hope soon to be able to offer WiFi connection
The hall is surrounded by grassland which is maintained regularly. While it is a haven for local walkers plus their dogs, the uncontrollable mole invasion renders it unsuitable for serious sport. All hirers are most welcome to use “the field” – but at their own risk.
Please note that we do not have an alcohol licence – hirers must make their own arrangements, be compliance aware and provide their own glasses.
